Independent Game Studio

besszong. Nova Scotia's newest game studio.

We're a group of highly experienced developers from Atlantic Canada ready to tell our own stories. Our years of experience with the industry leaders like Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Bethesda, Microsoft, and more provide us with the talent, ability, and drive to create the best gaming experiences.

besszong: Our studio is named for our founder’s great-great-grandfather, Georges Besszong, a French immigrant who came to Nova Scotia in search of a better life. At the age of 16, his journey was one of courage, resilience, fortitude, and a belief in a brighter future.

At besszong, we carry that adventurous spirit forward into the worlds we build and the stories we tell.

We believe that games should be more than just entertainment. Immersive games serve as escapes, adventures, and opportunities to create something new. Just like Georges' journey, every character, world and game we create is driven by the pursuit of something better.

Rooted firmly in Atlantic Canada, we are proud of where we come from, and excited about where we’re going.
